Time Project

Color Distribution

In these charcoal wash and oil paint works, I was conveying a sense of time through an abstracted idea of color distribution.  As the broken, once colored, light bulb breaks, it distributes its color to the surrounding objects : the fruit.  I love the color of fruit, and I love the paint it, so I thought that they would be the perfect color subjects for this project.
