Abstract Landscapes

I've spent the past couple of months studying abstract landscape artists and working on my own abstract landscape pieces. I am most inspired by the work of Brian Rutenberg and Wolf Kahn. I created these paintings while also studying the Fauvists and their use of color.  With these tree paintings, I wanted to convey a sense of dancing and theatre, and the color palette to warmly invite you into the scene.
